English lessons needed for study, for work or just for yourself? Good Hope school offers you this option!

Each course is taught in the beautiful Cotswolds, in Gloucestershire. This area offers many opportunities for relaxation, but is also an ideal place to study. Birmingham and Bristol airports are easy to get to, and there are regular cheap flights available from the different airports.

Good Hope e.l.p. has been set up by Mrs M Mortimer-Treur. The course is designed to help students at Christian schools with their English. Because Mrs Mortimer has a close working relationship with the Jacobus Fruytier Scholengemeenschap, the programme is attached to the JF-Good Hope Learning Centre, a joint venture between the Fruytier School Scholengemeenschap (NL) and the Good Hope School (UK), a school for Reformed education in England, since 2006. At JF-Good Hope Learning Centre, we would like to offer other schools and individual students the use of these facilities made available by Mrs Mortimer-Treur.

 At JF Learning Centre we would like to share our talents, gifts and resources with other faithful Christian institutions, who accept our reformed identity. Cooperation between Christians of Evangelical (Reformed in the Dutch language) churches and schools  in English language development is becoming more and more important. The time in which we live reinforces the role that the JF Good Hope Learning Centre will be able to play as an important centre for English language study where reformed Christians meet. That is why we are looking forward to further contact between reformed Christians in schools and educational institutions within and outside Europe. Mrs Mortimer-Treur hopes that other schools would like to join and apply for these courses!

Students and teachers of various European schools and other reformed institutions can also apply. Reformed Christians who would like to strengthen their English in other areas, such as business, holiday English, or who would like to improve their English as a family are welcome  as well! It is our goal that many people may benefit by tasting the English culture to strengthen English or even to study English! Most of all that it may be a time of blessing.
